Textile waste has been the major contributing factor when it comes to air and water pollution. Most of the clothes discarded as household, and industrial waste end up in the landfills. And through upcycling people are now reducing textile waste.

In this episode of The Wardrobe Switch, Pushpa Sthapit, co-founder of Upcycle Nepal, an upcycling and recycling company, talks about how her organisation is reviving the lost art of reusing old clothes, and in return reducing textile pollution in Nepal.

“So that is something that we have to constantly educate people on and it’s constantly something that we are working on to teach people the importance of upcycling and why it’s important”, says Sthapit
