“Imagine a bigger magnifying glass and it has a point focus that is tracking with the sun”, says Yash Tarwadi while explaining how his solar desalination plant Sol-Evo works. He has built a solar desalination plant which purifies upto 70 percent of the water that’s fed into it. It saves 5.7 lakh litres of water annually, while also helping prevent various water-borne diseases from spreading. Apart from that, they also have developed an online bidding platform to help common people figure out their solar requirement.
