In this episode, we have Archana Soreng, former UN Secretary General, Youth Advisory Group on Climate Change. She belongs to the Kharia tribe in Odisha, India.

She is a researcher and has been working on research and advocacy on indigenous people, tribal communities, climate action and biodiversity conservation.

“Indigenous women are the ones who have been contributing most to climate action. They are the ones who are engaging in patrolling the forest. They are ones who are engaging in community led forest practices and safeguarding the forest during forest fires”, says Soreng
