Tuvalu is one of the Pacific Island Countries, lying south of the equator. It is extremely vulnerable to the adverse impacts of climate change, variability, and extreme weather events. In this episode of For Her Future, we meet Grace Malliye, who highlights the drastic change in the type of work women are being forced to do due to climate change.

“I come from a family of women, only ladies and not as many men. So, we go out ourselves and we carry buckets of water. We do these man-made tasks that aren’t designed for our bodies. And because of climate change, our role in society is drastically changing”, says Grace.
