Rosa Marina Flores Cruz reached COP27 with one single goal – to represent the voices of the people who are impacted by climate change in Mexico. She belongs to an indigenous community that is currently bearing the brunt of greenwashing.

“We are seeing a lot of greenwashing. We are seeing the same corporations for example in my land, in my territory they are grabbing the lands to build windmill projects in our indigenous territory, and they are here talking about solutions to climate change,” says Rosa Marina

“We want the youth to realise that the situation in the lands and in the territories is totally different from how they are talking inside these places, and that’s why we need them to go and see and watch what is happening in their own lands,” Rosa Marina adds.
