Meet Kristy Drutman, an American environmental media host, and activist and she is on a mission to change the image of what it means to be an environmentalist in the 21st century.
How is she doing that? She interviews environmental leaders and advocates about diversity and inclusion through her podcasts, videos and blogs.
She says, “A really important part of making environmental issues more accessible is to be able to figure out how we can have people talk about it with their friends and family at their dinner tables. It’s important you not only educate yourself and be passionate about the issue but actually have those more difficult conversations with your loved ones on how they can get involved in, think about our connection to the things that we own and consume.”
