The mega festival- Kumbh Mela has begun in Prayagraj from 15th January and will continue till March 2019. But, the amount of  pollution is something to be concerned for because of the presence of lakhs of pilgrims from all parts of the country and even abroad. Also, the UP Government failed to keep a check on pollution even after being directed by the NGT (National Green Tribunal) to do so and most importantly, it’s the need of the hour.
