The Government has launched NCAP to curb the rising pollution in the country.
To tackle the rising air pollution, the Centre launched a comprehensive pan-India air pollution abatement scheme for 102 cities – National Clean Air Programme (NCAP) which is a mid-term, five-year action plan by formally unveiling details of its strategies with keeping states into the loop for implementation. An initial amount of Rs 300 crore for NCAP has been sanctioned.
